Instructions & features of Mobile app

Delhi Jal Board now introduces yet another new age solution for all smart consumers. You can now download the DJB Mobile
Application on your smart phone to view and pay your Water Bills with any time- anywhere convenience. This application virtually
brings the DJB office right before you. Just download from Google Playstore and find out how simple and easy it is.

Steps For Registration & Billing on Mobile App
STEP 1: Registration:Enter Registration Details
Enter 10 digit KNO
Enter 10 digit mobile number to receive OTP which will be sent for registration verification
Enter your valid email Id
Note: On successful registration, SMS for OTP will be sent to your 10 digit mobile number entered above.

STEP 2: Verification:Enter Verification Details
Enter OTP sent to you by SMS
Password
(Password Policy : Password Should Contain at least 6 Alpha Numeric Characters which should:
1.Contain at least one Uppercase Letter.
2.Contain at least one Lowercase Letter.
3.Contain at least one Numeric Character.
4.Contain at least one Special Character other than [' " & ; : %] and blank space)
Confirm Password
Note:
1. If KNO is already registered in Consumer Portal i.e. djb.gov.in, then use the same login ID and password for this App.
2. In case the consumer is not registered in Consumer Portal, then consumer must create new password as per password policy.

STEP 3: Login : Enter Login Details
Enter 10 digit KNO
Password
Note: On successful login, home screen will appear with different options.

STEP 4: Generate Bill
Ensure to turn on GPS
Go to Generate Bill Option
Details of last bill will be displayed
Capture meter reading : capture the picture which will be used by DJB for Review & Audit
Enter the Current meter read. Now, press 'Generate Current Bill' button. Wait till completion of processing
Latest bill details will be displayed on screen
Option is available to view/download pdf version of bill or proceed further for bill payment. Click either of the options

How to View & Download the Bill
After login, please select 'View & Download' from the Home menu
Select the desired bill to be downloaded

How to make Payment
After login, please select 'Make Payment' button from the Home menu
Select the desired payment option from the available list. After this, the screen will be redirected to Payment Gateway page
Note:
1. Payment amount should be equal or greater than account balance
2. Ensure that payment transaction is successfully completed before leaving the page
3. On successful completion of transaction, transaction Id will be received on registered mobile number through SMS

How to Download Payment Receipt
After login, please select 'Download receipt' option from the Home menu
Selected payment receipt may be downloaded




FAQs regarding Mobile app

1. What is the purpose of this App ?
Ans :This App is developed to provide convenience & services in the hands of the consumers. The
App provides feature of instant self bill generation 24X7 anytime as per his/her convenience
besides facilities of online payment, view & download previous bills and payment receipts etc.

2. What is my login Id for the App ?
Ans :Water connection KNO printed on the bill is the default login Id for using the App.

3. Do I need to be registered on DJB website for Revenue Management System to use this App ?
Ans :If the consumer is already registered on DJB website for RMS i.e. djb.gov.in, same login Id
and password can be used for registering on this App else consumer can create new password.
Also, newly created password can be used on DJB website i.e. djb.gov.in as well.

4. Is it mandatory to upload the picture of meter read to generate the bill ?
Ans :Yes, taking the picture from the same mobile phone and from within the App with turn ON
status of GPS is mandatory for uploading the reading and generation of bill.

4a. What is the purpose of this image ?
Ans : The image of the meter reading will be used for review & audit by Delhi Jal Board.

5. How many times can I generate bill using this App in a round ?
Ans :Bill can be generated only once during a bill round.

6. When can I start generating bills from the App after registration ?
Ans :The consumers who register for self bill generation using the App can start self bill
generation from next billing round. DJB will make effort to notify the registered consumers
via SMS on their registered mobile number.

7. Can I import the meter read picture from any other source into App for generating the bill ?
Ans :No. The picture should be taken from same mobile phone and from within the App with turn
ON status of GPS.

8. What if I miss generating the bill timely from the App ?
Ans :If consumer misses to generate the bill during billing round, no bill will be generated during
that round. However, during succeeding round it will be mandatory for the registered
consumer to generate the bill from the App. In case, no bill is generated during 2
consecutive rounds, self billing will be deactivated and consumer has to re-register for
availing the facility.

9. Can I use more than 1 KNO from same mobile number ?
Ans :Yes, all the KNOs must be registered through the App.

10. Can I pay the bill of another KNO ?
Ans :Bill generation and payment can be made only for the registered KNOs from the App.

11. If I miss to downloadsave the bill after generating the bill, where will I found my generated bill ?
Ans :All generated bills & payment receipts can be downloaded from Home menu where consumer
will find options of 'Download Bill' and 'Download Payment Receipt'.

12. Can I cancel the bill if my bill was wrongly generated ?
Ans :No, if bill is wrongly generated, consumer needs to contact Zonal Revenue Office for bill
cancellation & rectification.

13. Am I eligible for self billing ?
Ans :Self billing is available only for functional water meters. Consumers who are not having
functional water meters, are not eligible for self billing.

PRIVACY POLICY

Delhi Jal Board(DJB), as an organization, completely understands the importance of every individual's private details such as Name, Address, Mobile number, etc. The following document states the Privacy Policy of the DJB mSeva app. All consumers are advised to kindly go through the Privacy Policy carefully. By installing/using the services provided by the DJB mSeva app, consumers give us their consent to use and disclose the provided personal information inaccordance to the Privacy Policy. If any consumer does not agrees to the terms of policy, they are requested not to use or access the DJBmSeva app.

1.1 Sensitive Personal Data
.DJB will not sell, share or rent any of the personal information provided by the consumers to any 3rd party. We would advise you not to disclose your KNO, Password, Financial details, and other sensitive details, etc. with anyone. Any disclosure of sensitive personal data or information shall be at consumers' sole risk and without any liability to the organization.

1.2 Personal Information
.The primary purpose of collection of personal information is strictly dependent on providing the requisite service to the consumers. In order to fullfil that we might request you to allow access to some of items explained in the below mentioned points :-

.Camera -We need you to allow access to the camera as it is required to capture the image of the meter reading, which is a mandation for generating the water bill for a particular KNO.

.Location - We need you to allow access to the location as it is required to capture the location of the meter and help us to serve you better.

.Telephone - We need you to allow access to the Telephone as it is required to capture the Device ID, Android Version, Model No.and Manufacturer.

.SMS -We need you to allow access to the SMS as it is required to capture the OTP sent to your device at the time of registration.

.Storage - We need you to allow access to the Storage as it is required to create a few folders in the Internal Storage of the device. We also capture the available RAM while the app is running.

.Network related access(Wi-Fi/Mobile Data) -The app is Internet dependent, therefore, the internet connection is required.

.Cookies -We may also collect Cookies(which may be html files, flash files or other technology), text files that help store user preferences and activity.

. We may also obtain information about you, from any e-mails,letters, communications, etc. that you send to us.

. We also collect service-related performance information. This includes information about your activity (such as how you use our Services), log files, crash and reports.

1.3 Third Party Websites/Payment gateways/Wallets
.This Service may contain links to other Services owned and operated by third parties. Once the consumers are re-directed to the third party websites/Payment gateways/wallets DJB shall not be held responsible in case of any information disclosure.

.In case consumers have any grievance with respect to the service, they can send us an email to djbselfservice@gmail.com. Also,if consumers have any further questions, queries with respect to the service, then such correspondence should be directed to our Customer Care at 1916.
.Note :- DJB hold rights to apply any changes in the Privacy Policy of the DJB mSeva app after a certain period of time about which consumers won't be intimated explicitly. We, therefore, would request all the consumers to please keep a track of the Privacy Policy on a timely basis.
